Taking a screenshot varies slightly depending on the device and operating system: On Windows:
- Press Windows key + Shift + S to open the Snipping Tool overlay to capture a rectangular, window, full screen, or freeform snip.
- Press Print Screen (PrtSc) to capture the entire screen to clipboard.
- Press Windows key + PrtSc captures the screen and saves it to the Pictures > Screenshots folder automatically.
- Alt + PrtSc captures the current active window to clipboard.
On Mac:
- Press Shift + Command + 3 to capture the entire screen.
- Press Shift + Command + 4 to capture a selected portion of the screen by dragging the cursor.
