To turn off AirPods notifications where Siri announces your messages or other notifications while you are wearing them, follow these steps on your iPhone:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap Notifications.
- Select Announce Notifications under the Siri section.
- To completely stop Siri from announcing notifications on your AirPods, toggle Announce Notifications off at the top.
- If you want to keep some notifications announced but stop them only when using AirPods, toggle off the Headphones option under "Announce When Connected To" (this disables announcements only for headphones).
- You can also customize which apps Siri announces notifications from by scrolling down and toggling off individual apps if desired.
This will prevent Siri from interrupting your music or audio to read out notifications through your AirPods
