To unblock someone on Facebook, follow these steps based on your device: On the Facebook Mobile App (iPhone or Android):
- Open the Facebook app.
- Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) — bottom right on iPhone, top right on Android.
- Scroll down and tap Settings & Privacy, then tap Settings.
- Under Audience and Visibility , select Blocking.
- You will see a list of people you’ve blocked. Tap Unblock next to the person you want to unblock.
- Confirm by tapping Unblock again in the pop-up window
On Facebook Using a Computer:
- Go to Facebook.com and log in.
- Click the downward-facing arrow in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings & Privacy, then Settings.
- In the left sidebar, click Blocking.
- Under the Block users section, find the person you want to unblock and click Unblock next to their name.
- Confirm your choice by clicking Continue or Unblock in the confirmation dialog
Additional Notes:
- After unblocking someone, you must wait 48 hours before you can block them again.
- Unblocking restores the ability for that person to interact with you on Facebook and Messenger
