To unlink an EA account from a PlayStation Network (PSN) account, follow these steps:
- Open a web browser on your computer or phone and go to the official EA website (EA.com).
- Log in with the EA account that is currently linked to your PSN account.
- Click on your profile icon at the top right corner and select "Account Settings."
- On the left side menu, click on "Connected Accounts."
- Find the PlayStation Network connection and click on "Unlink."
- EA will warn you about potential loss of access to some game data or content. Confirm that you want to unlink.
- You may need to verify your identity by entering a security code sent to your registered email.
- After confirmation, your EA account will be unlinked from your PSN account.
Keep in mind, once unlinked, game progress, DLC, memberships, rewards, and other entitlements will remain with the original EA account and cannot be transferred. Also, once you unlink a platform account from an EA Account and link it to a new one, you cannot unlink it again for six months.
