- The tassel is attached to the button at the center top of the mortarboard. Before the ceremony, position the tassel on the right side of the cap. After you graduate, you will move the tassel to the left side to symbolize your new graduate status
- For hairstyles, opt for low ponytails or loose hair to allow the cap to sit evenly. Avoid high ponytails or buns that can make the cap unstable
