Trevor Lawrence was not down after he stumbled on a critical play in the Jacksonville Jaguars' game against the Kansas City Chiefs because, despite falling when his foot was stepped on, he quickly got back up and made a game- winning touchdown run. Lawrence initially planned to throw the ball away to stop the clock but, seeing little opposition around him, decided to take off, broke a tackle, and dove into the end zone for the touchdown. His coach described the finish as "goofy" but praised Lawrence's toughness and determination not to lose. Lawrence himself called the moment "sheer panic" but showed quick thinking and resilience to make the winning play.
