The 2023 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships were held from August 23 to August 27, 2023, in Duisburg, Germany, at Sportpark Duisburg. This event was the main global qualification event for the 2024 Summer Olympics. Thirty sets of medals were awarded across various canoe and kayak events, including canoe sprint and paracanoe disciplines. The championships featured a range of men's, women's, and mixed events, with participants from numerous countries competing for medals and Olympic quotas. Germany, the host nation, topped the medal table with a total of 14 medals (3 gold, 5 silver, and 6 bronze). Spain and Canada followed closely in the medal standings.
