There will not be a season 4 of "The Summer I Turned Pretty." The show was based on Jenny Han's trilogy of novels, and all three books have been adapted into three seasons of the series. Jenny Han, the creator and showrunner, has stated that it "feels right" to end the series after three seasons, as there is no more source material to adapt. While she has not completely ruled out the possibility of returning to the story in some form if inspired, there are currently no plans for a fourth season. The finale of season 3 aired on September 17, 2025, concluding the story of Belly and the Fisher brothers at Cousins Beach.
