Jaecoo cars are primarily made by the Chinese vehicle manufacturer Chery. The manufacturing is done mainly in Wuhu, China, where the Jaecoo 7 model is produced. Additionally, some Jaecoo models are built in Shah Alam, Malaysia, where Chery has established a dedicated assembly plant for Jaecoo vehicles, especially for the ASEAN region. This Malaysian plant started producing the Jaecoo J7 model in 2024, with plans to expand local assembly to other models and increase local content in production over time.
