Elizabeth Catherine McAlpine, known as Lizzy McAlpine, is an American singer- songwriter and record producer born on September 21, 1999, in Philadelphia and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She gained recognition through posting original songs and covers on platforms like SoundCloud and YouTube. Her music generally blends indie pop, folk, bedroom pop, jazz, pop, and R&B genres. Lizzy McAlpine released her debut EP "Indigo" in 2018 and her first full studio album "Give Me a Minute" in 2020, which received critical acclaim. Her second album "Five Seconds Flat" (2022) featured the TikTok-viral single "Ceilings," achieving spots on the U.S. Billboard 200 and Hot 100 charts.
