As of September 19, 2023, there are several parking options available at the Minnesota State Fair:

Automobile/Vehicle Parking: Parking in State Fair lots is $20 (cash or credit/debit) and is paid for as you enter to park. Parking in all State Fair lots is available on a first-come basis, and lots do fill quickly each day. Overnight parking is not permitted in fairgrounds public parking lots. Accessible parking spaces designated for vehicles with a valid disability parking certificate are located in many State Fair lots on a first-come basis. Cost is $20 (cash or credit/debit) .

Bicycle & Motorcycle Parking: People who ride a non-licensed bike or scooter to the fair can park in one of three FREE bike corrals. A lot is also available for motorcycles on Como Avenue near the International Institute for a fee.

Charter Bus Parking: Groups arriving at the State Fair by bus may use the University of Minnesota Transitway to avoid traffic and park in a designated lot for free.
There is no daily RV parking in fairgrounds lots. Overnight parking is not permitted in fairgrounds public parking lots. Pets are not allowed on the fairgrounds during the 12 days of the Minnesota State Fair, with the exception of service dogs or animals approved as part of an exhibition.
