Ryan Stiles is a Canadian-American actor, comedian, and improvisational performer known primarily for his work on both the British and American versions of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" and his role as Lewis Kiniski on "The Drew Carey Show." He was born on April 22, 1959, in Seattle, Washington, and moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, at age 10. Stiles started his career in comedy after dropping out of high school to pursue stand-up and improv, eventually joining the Second City comedy troupe in Toronto and later Los Angeles. He is recognized for his tall stature (6'6), sharp wit, and expertise in improv comedy.
He is married to Pat McDonald since 1989 and has three children. Stiles is known for his comedic timing, impressions, and his humorous resistance to certain musical improv games on "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" He also had roles on various TV shows and films, including "Two and a Half Men" and some early works in Canadian television.
