Silent Hill f is an upcoming 2025 survival horror game developed by NeoBards Entertainment and published by Konami. It is a standalone spin-off of the Silent Hill series, set in 1960s Japan in the fictional town of Ebisugaoka. The story follows Hinako Shimizu, a high school student navigating the fog- enshrouded town, solving puzzles, and fighting grotesque monsters to survive. Unlike previous games mostly set in the titular American town, Silent Hill f is set in Japan to emphasize its Japanese horror roots and identity. The game features exploration, puzzle-solving, and combat inspired by modern challenging action games while retaining psychological horror elements. It will release on PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on September 25, 2025. Notable contributors include writer Ryukishi07 and composer Akira Yamaoka, aiming to bring a unique Japanese horror experience to the series.
