Montezuma was a leader, specifically the ninth emperor of the Aztec Empire, and not a type of Aztec sport. He ruled from around 1502 to 1520 and was one of the most famous Aztec emperors known for expanding the empire and encountering the Spanish conquest. The Aztecs did have ball games as part of their culture, such as the Mesoamerican ballgame called Ulama, but Montezuma refers to their ruler rather than any sport.
