what a wonderful family

"What a Wonderful Family" is a Japanese comedy film directed by Yoji Yamada and starring Isao Hashizume, Kazuko Yoshiyuki, Masahiko Nishimura, Yui Natsukawa, Tomoko Nakajima, Hayashiya Shōzō IX, Satoshi Tsumabuki, and Yū Aoi. The film was released in Japan by Shochiku on March 12, 2016, and uses the same cast as Yamadas 2013 film Tokyo Family. The plot revolves around a big family, and the first film follows a couple who are considering divorce when they receive a surprise from their family. Two sequels have been made from the film, featuring the same cast and characters: "What a Wonderful Family! 2" (released 27 May 2017) and "What a Wonderful Family! 3: My Wife, My Life" (released 25 May 2018) .
