The four seasons in Australia are spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
- Spring: September, October, November
- Summer: December, January, February
- Autumn: March, April, May
- Winter: June, July, August
Australia is in the Southern Hemisphere, so its seasons are opposite those in the Northern Hemisphere. In the northern tropical regions, there are only two seasons: the wet season (November to April) and the dry season (May to October). The four-season pattern with spring, summer, autumn, and winter applies mainly to the southern parts of the country.
