Brooks Robinson, a Baseball Hall of Famer and former third baseman for the Baltimore Orioles, died on September 26, 2023, at the age of 86. He was known for his exceptional defensive skills and was nicknamed the "Human Vacuum Cleaner" for his ability to catch just about anything hit his way. Robinson played on four pennant-winning teams, two of them World Series champions, and was the most valuable player of the 1970 World Series.
