You can bring the following items to Jazz Fest for a comfortable and enjoyable experience:
- Small bags or backpacks no larger than 17” x 12” x 10”
- Soft coolers no bigger than a 12-pack size, containing only factory-sealed bottled water and ice
- Single, collapsible chairs (regular folding chairs are allowed)
- Blankets or group tarps up to 6’x8’ for sitting on the ground
- Wheelchairs, medical scooters, and push strollers for children
- Handheld, personal-sized umbrellas (not beach or pole-style umbrellas over 63”)
- Essentials like sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, baby wipes, and ziplock bags to protect your phone or pack out leftovers
- Comfortable shoes and breathable clothing suitable for hot weather and possible rain
- Toilet paper in a Ziploc bag for convenience
- Hydration supplies like large bottles of sealed water or hydration packs (Camelbaks) filled with ice
Items prohibited include hard-sided or large coolers, outside beverages except sealed water, wagons, pets, glass, metal poles, personal tents or shade canopies, drones, athletic games, bicycles, large chairs with footrests, video/audio recording equipment, weapons, and illicit drugs
. Bringing a rain poncho or cheap rain gear is also recommended in case of rain, and packing light is advised to stay mobile and enjoy multiple stages
