Baker Mayfield played college football at the University of Oklahoma. Before that, he was a walk-on at Texas Tech University, where he played in eight games and completed 64 percent of his passes for 2,315 yards and 12 touchdowns against nine interceptions. He transferred to Oklahoma in January 2014 and played for the Sooners from 2015-2017, leading them to two appearances in the College Football Playoff and the 2017 Sugar Bowl.
