After Dhanteras, the next day is celebrated as Choti Diwali, also known as Naraka Chaturdashi. Choti Diwali precedes the main festival of Diwali and marks the second day of the five-day Diwali celebrations. It is a day when people wake up early, apply aromatic oils, take a bath, wear new clothes, offer Puja, light diyas, and burst a few crackers. This day is significant for cleansing and preparing for the main Diwali festival.
