Jeep is an American automobile brand that is largely made in America, but FCA US has manufacturing facilities located throughout several other countries, adding up to 37 total manufacturing facilities. The brand has been headquartered in Toledo, Ohio, ever since Willys–Overland launched production of the first CJ or Civilian Jeep branded models there in 1945. Jeep is owned by the global automotive conglomerate Stellantis, which is officially Dutch, incorporated in the Netherlands, and headquartered in Amsterdam.
