Smyrna, Georgia is located in Cobb County, Georgia, United States. It is a city located about 10 miles northwest of Atlanta, Georgia, and is considered an integral part of the Metro Atlanta area. Smyrna is included in the Atlanta–Sandy Springs–Alpharetta MSA, which is included in the Atlanta–Athens-Clarke–Sandy Springs CSA. The city is located just west of the northern intersection of I-285 and I-75, which is the site of the edge city Cumberland and the Cobb Galleria.
