Bad Bunny, during his Saturday Night Live (SNL) monologue, spoke in Spanish to the Latino community in the U.S. and worldwide about his excitement to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show. He said:
- "Especially all the Latinos and Latinas across the world, and here, in the United States, all those who have worked to open doors."
- "It's more than an achievement for myself, it's an achievement for all of us."
- "It shows our footprint, and our contribution to this country, that no one will ever be able to take away or erase."
- Then he added humorously in English, "And if you didn't understand what I just said, you have four months to learn."
He also mocked the backlash and conservative criticism he received, even joking about Fox News, saying "I think everyone is thrilled about it – even Fox News".
In a sketch with Benicio Del Toro, Bad Bunny humorously explained quirks of the Spanish language, adding playful comments about grammar and pronunciation.
