Before meeting Charlie Kirk, Erika Kirk (née Frantzve) had an accomplished background that included being crowned Miss Arizona USA in 2012 and playing collegiate basketball for Regis University in Denver, Colorado. She graduated from Arizona State University with a double major in political science and international relations and also earned a Juris Master in American Legal Studies at Liberty University. Erika was active in faith-based initiatives, having launched a ministry project called Bible in 365 to encourage daily Scripture engagement and founded a faith-oriented fashion brand called Proclaim Streetwear. She also started a nonprofit organization called Everyday Heroes Like You at the age of 17 to promote charitable foundations. Additionally, Erika hosted a religious podcast called Midweek Rise Up and worked as a real estate agent in New York City. Her activities combined faith, entrepreneurship, and public engagement well before her relationship with Charlie Kirk, which began in 2018 after they met in New York City.
