Bed bug bites can cause a range of symptoms and reactions. They often appear as small, flat or raised areas that may become inflamed, itchy, red, or blistered. The bites may be grouped together in a small area and at times may occur in a line or a zigzag pattern. Some people may not feel the bite itself or develop clear symptoms other than the dots where the bug bit and some minor, surrounding inflammation and irritation. Others may develop more severe symptoms, such as swollen welts, and experience increased pain and itchiness. Bed bug bites can appear on any part of the body thats exposed while sleeping, such as the hands, neck, face, shoulders, legs, and arms. The bites can develop into red, itchy, and swollen welts, quickly causing skin irritation at the bite site. Its important to note that not everyone reacts to bed bug bites in the same manner, and symptoms may not always appear immediately after being bitten, sometimes taking a few days to manifest.
