Nexstar Media Group owns the largest number of television stations in the United States, with 197 TV stations across many U.S. markets, including major cities like New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Most of these stations are affiliated with the four major American networks (ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox) and MyNetworkTV. Nexstar also operates stations owned by affiliates such as Mission Broadcasting under local marketing agreements. In addition to TV stations, Nexstar owns or operates:

Nexstar recently acquired Tribune Media, expanding its portfolio to 216 stations in 118 markets, making it the largest U.S. TV station owner by footprint. It also owns or controls about 30 ABC affiliates nationwide, along with affiliates of other major networks in various markets.
