PPR leagues are often higher-scoring than standard leagues because they place a greater emphasis on players who frequently catch passes. Managers in PPR leagues tend to target wide receivers and receiving backs who are more likely to accumulate a large number of receptions.
There is also an option for half-point PPR, where players receive half a point for each reception. This scoring system still benefits wide receivers and receiving backs but makes yards and touchdowns more valuable compared to full PPR leagues.
