The planes on September 11, 2001, hit the World Trade Center towers at the following floors:
- The hijacked Flight 11 crashed into the North Tower (1 WTC) between floors 93 and 99 at 8:46 a.m.
- The hijacked Flight 175 struck the South Tower (2 WTC) between floors 77 and 85 at 9:03 a.m.
These impacts caused extensive damage and fires that ultimately led to the collapse of both towers later that morning.
