Amo in Gachiakuta experienced a deeply tragic and traumatic past. As a child, she was sold by her mother to a human trafficker who was a pedophile. This trafficker abused her through various rituals, which were actually acts of sexual abuse. The trafficker eventually met a violent end by falling to his death from a high tower. Later, she encountered more dangerous situations, including being attacked and having her vital item, a pair of boots from the Watchmen series, taken by a character named Jabber.
