The original Angry Birds game, which was one of the first smartphone games to become popular, was removed from app stores in 2019 for testing purposes. However, it was re-released in 2022 under the name Rovio Classics: Angry Birds, but was delisted from the Google Play Store in February 2023 due to its impact on Rovios wider games portfolio. The game was renamed Reds First Flight on the App Store, but may return to the Play Store under the same name. If you owned Rovio Classics: Angry Birds before its delisting, you can still download and play it. The iOS version of the game was renamed to Reds First Flight, presumably to make it less likely to appear in searches for Angry Birds. Rovio has stated that the game will remain playable on devices on which it has been downloaded, even after it has been unlisted.
