According to recent news, Bam Margera, one of the creators of "Jackass," turned himself in to authorities in Pennsylvania in April 2023 after a warrant was issued for his arrest in an alleged assault. His preliminary arraignment was held, and his unsecured bail was set at $50,000. His next court hearing is scheduled for May 25. In January 2023, Bam Margera revealed that he was hospitalized with pneumonia, COVID-19, and five seizures. He was fired from the "Jackass Forever" project in August 2020 after failing a drug test for Adderall and filed a lawsuit a year later against director Jeff Tremaine, star Johnny Knoxville, and studio Paramount Pictures for wrongful termination. Upon reaching a private settlement, Margera dropped the lawsuit last April. Bam Margera has struggled with addiction and mental health issues over the years and has sought treatment several times. In July 2023, he was ordered to rehab in Pennsylvania after appearing before a Chester County judge to answer to charges stemming from his arrest in April.
