what happened to chandrayaan 3

Chandrayaan-3 is a planned third lunar exploration mission by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) . The mission will consist of a lander and a rover similar to Chandrayaan-2, but would not have an orbiter. Its propulsion module will behave like a communications relay satellite. The Vikram lander and Pragyan rover were set to sleep on 2 September and 4 September 2019, respectively, due to depleting solar power with sunset at the landing site. Chandrayaan-3 made a historic landing on the moons surface on September 21, 2023. The rover completed its assignments and is now safely parked and set into sleep mode. APXS and LIBS payloads are turned off. On September 22, 2023, ISRO officials announced that they would try to reactivate the Vikram lander.
