Deion Sanders, the University of Colorado football coach and NFL Hall of Famer, has been dealing with circulation issues in his left foot. He has already had two toes amputated and has no feeling in the bottom of his foot. An ultrasound revealed that previously opened arteries had closed, according to his medical team. Sanders was at risk of having his left foot amputated due to poor circulation, according to doctors at the school. However, he recently announced that he will undergo surgery to improve his blood flow and eliminate the possibility of amputating his left foot. Sanders clarified that his doctors are performing surgery that will keep his foot intact. Sanders will not need his left foot amputated at this time, although hes set for a procedure to relieve clots in both of his legs.
