Ezra Bridger is a character from the animated television series "Star Wars Rebels." In the series finale, Ezra allows himself to be captured by Grand Admiral Thrawn and gets aboard the Chimaera while his team faces off against the Empire. Ezras story abruptly ended during the ending of "Star Wars Rebels," leaving his fate during and after the original trilogy a mystery. However, according to, Ezra Bridger sacrificed himself at the end of "Rebels" to outsmart General Thrawn. He allowed himself to get captured in Thrawn's ship to summon space whales, which then took both him and Thrawn into hyperspace, leaving their fate unknown.
