Channel termination in 2024
In March 2024, YouTube temporarily terminated the main FGTeeV channel for reasons that weren’t clearly explained by the family. The channel was later restored, and the family resumed posting videos as normal. This led to rumors and confusion among fans, including false death hoaxes about the dad, Vincent “Duddy” Carter, which the family has not confirmed and appear to be internet rumors.
Political controversy
Around that time, FGTeeV’s dad, Vincent, faced online backlash after expressing support for Donald Trump in tweets and videos, which some viewers strongly criticized. He later said the hate and threats (including threats to burn his merchandise) had gotten serious enough that he considered taking a break from social media.
Long break in 2025
In mid‑2025, FGTeeV stopped uploading new videos for several months, which worried fans. In a recent video titled “The truth about where FGTeeV has been..,” the family joked that they had “locked” Duddy in a closet and were “letting him out” to return to YouTube. In reality, this was a humorous way of saying they were taking a long break and working on other projects, and that Duddy is still alive and part of the channel.
Current status
As of late 2025, the FGTeeV channel is back and uploading again, though at a slower pace than before. The family continues to make Roblox and family‑friendly gaming content, and there’s no indication that the channel is permanently ending.
