John Roberts, the Fox News journalist (not to be confused with Chief Justice John Roberts), is currently working as the co-anchor of Fox News' "America Reports." Recently, he was diagnosed with a severe case of malaria, which led to hospitalization in late August 2025. He experienced severe symptoms including uncontrollable shivering and body aches, suspected to have contracted the illness during a vacation in Indonesia. He has been receiving treatment and is on the road to recovery as of the end of August 2025. Before this illness, he had a longstanding career in journalism, joining Fox News in 2011 and serving as the chief White House correspondent from 2017 to 2021. His role was elevated to an anchor position in January 2021. As of now, he is expected to return to work following his recovery from malaria.
