Kani Walker, a cornerback for the Arkansas Razorbacks, was injured on September 13, 2025, during a Southeastern Conference game against Ole Miss. He suffered a head injury after an inadvertent knee hit to the back of his helmet from his teammate Caleb Wooden during a play. Walker was face down on the field for several minutes before being turned over and placed on a stretcher. He was then carted off the field and taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford as a precaution. Despite the scary nature of the injury, Walker was able to give a thumbs-up to fans as he was taken off, and his team reported that he had movement in all his extremities. The game was paused for about 12 minutes due to the incident. Before this injury, Walker had made six tackles in the game and had been an important part of the Arkansas defense after transferring from Oklahoma. This injury occurred early in the fourth quarter of the game.
