Ekaterina Alexandrovskaya was a Russian-Australian pair skater who died on July 18, 2020, at the age of 20. She died by apparent suicide after jumping out of the 6th floor window of her Moscow home. Alexandrovskaya had been diagnosed with epilepsy earlier in the year and was forced to quit the sport after spending two weeks in a Russian hospital. Her funding from the Australian Olympic Committee was also cut in May 2019. Her skating partner, Harley Windsor, announced earlier in the year that they would no longer be competing as a pair professionally due to health concerns.
