Maggie Rhee (née Greene) is a character in The Walking Dead. She was introduced in season 2 and has transformed from the farmer’s daughter to a badass survivor. She falls in love with Glenn and, while pregnant with his child, is forced to watch his brutal murder by Negan. Maggie left The Walking Dead in season 9 due to a pay dispute and because she had another show, but she returned in the season 10 finale because her other show got canceled. In her final appearance during season 9, Maggie seemed to get past her obsession with killing Negan. After Ricks presumed death and the time jump, Maggie was gone, and its said she went off with Georgie to help build a new community. In The Walking Dead season 10 finale, Maggie is shown reading a letter written by Carol detailing the dark events and deaths that have befallen her friends, motivating her return. Since coming back to the cast, Maggie fully reinserted herself into the mix, most notably entering a reluctant alliance with her old nemesis Negan. Maggie was understandably resistant to working with the man who killed Glenn, her husband, even if Negan had seemingly changed. Maggies story will continue in The Walking Dead spin-off series, Walking Dead: Dead City, where she and Negan remain connected and work together to protect her son, Herschel, from those who want to use Negans skills.
