According to multiple sources, Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh has been suspended for the remainder of the regular season due to an alleged sign-stealing scandal. The Big Ten announced the suspension on November 10, 2023, while the Michigan football team was on the way to play Penn State. The suspension was handed down because of the extensive sign-stealing scandal Michigan allegedly orchestrated. Michigan, which is currently under investigation by the NCAA for a wide-sprawling sign-stealing operation that allegedly spanned several years, will not have Harbaugh on the sidelines for games against Penn State, Maryland, or Ohio State. Harbaugh is permitted to coach the team during the week, but he is banned from venues on gamedays. The university has issued a statement saying that it will seek to obtain a court order to block the Big Tens three-game suspension of Harbaugh.
