Milli Vanilli was a German-French R&B duo consisting of Fab Morvan and Rob Pilatus. They achieved huge success around the world with their debut album, "All or Nothing" in Europe and "Girl You Know Its True" in the US, which won a Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 1990. However, it was later revealed that they were lip-syncing their hits, and their Grammy Award was revoked. They were stripped of their fame and success, and any planned follow-up album was cancelled. After their fall from grace, Pilatus and Morvan went their separate ways. Pilatus turned into a tragic drug casualty, in and out of rehab, and eventually succumbed to an alcohol and drug overdose at the age of 33 in 1998. Morvan continued to pursue a music career and recorded a solo album in 1993. In 1998, he recorded a comeback album with Pilatus, titled "Back and in Attack," but its release was cancelled after Pilatuss death. In recent years, a documentary about Milli Vanilli has been released, chronicling their rise and fall from their own perspective.
