what happened to moordale school

Moordale Secondary School was closed down and sold to property developers at the end of season three of the Netflix series "Sex Education". The school was thrown into chaos by the new headmistress, Hope Haddon, who rebranded the school as Sparkside Academy and imposed a uniform code and sex education which focused on abstinence. She also invited investors to a school event to show off her new and improved educational environment, but her plans were sabotaged by the students, leading to the investors pulling out and Moordale being forced to close. By the beginning of season four, Moordale Secondary School is already closed and about to be destroyed. Some of the students, including Ruby, Aimee, Cal, and Jackson, are now attending Cavendish College, while many of the other characters absence is explained by saying they went to different schools.
