Seal is a British singer-songwriter who has sold over 20 million records worldwide. He first came to prominence for providing the vocals to Adamskis 1990 hit Killer, and he later scored international success on songs including Crazy and Kiss from a Rose. Seal has won multiple awards, including three Brit Awards, four Grammy Awards, and an MTV Video Music Award. He was also a coach on The Voice Australia in 2012 and 2013, and returned in 2017.
Seal has a condition called discoid lupus erythematosus (DLE), which is a type of lupus that specifically affects the skin above the neck. This condition caused significant scalp involvement, leading to hair loss, and resulted in scarring on his face. Although his condition has been in remission for years, his scars remain.
In recent years, Seal has been a guest judge for season 12 of Americas Got Talent, competed on the second season of The Masked Singer as "Leopard," and collaborated with Claptone on the song "Just A Ghost," released in 2021). He also guest-starred in the 2021 animated film Seal Team where he voices a singing cape fur seal named Seal Seal).
