RMS Olympic was a British luxury liner that was part of the Olympic line, along with the Titanic and Britannic. The Olympic was launched in 1910 and made her maiden voyage in 1911. The ship was involved in several collisions during her career. In 1911, the Olympic collided with the HMS Hawke near the Isle of Wight, causing major damage to both ships. In 1924, the Olympic collided with the smaller liner Fort St George in New York, causing extensive damage to the smaller ship and fracturing the Olympics sternpost. In 1934, the Olympic collided with the Nantucket Lightship LV-117 in heavy fog, causing the smaller vessel to break apart and sink.

After a long career, the Olympic was retired from service in 1934 and sold for scrap in 1935.
