"What If" is a 2013 romantic comedy film directed by Michael Dowse. The film stars Daniel Radcliffe and Zoe Kazan as two young people who meet and, because she has a boyfriend, decide to be "friends". The movie follows the story of Wallace, who is burned out from a string of failed relationships, and Chantry, who lives with her longtime boyfriend. Together, they puzzle out what it means if your best friend is also the love of your life. The film premiered at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival on September 7, 2013, and was theatrically released in Canada on August 22, 2014.
