A brisk Jewish is not a term or phrase that is commonly used. However, there is a Jewish ceremony called Brit Milah, also known as a bris, which is the circumcision of a baby boy on the eighth day of his life. The ceremony is a symbol of the covenant between God and the Jewish people. The mohel, or ritual circumciser, performs the circumcision using a shield to protect the penis and to guide the knife to make sure only the foreskin is cut. The ceremony also includes various traditions, rituals, and prayers.
