A crew cab is a type of pickup truck that has a full-size back seat and four doors. It is designed to carry five or six passengers across two rows, with two front seats and a back seat that can accommodate three or more passengers. Crew cabs are the largest cab size available for trucks and are made for families, transporting working crews, or hauling more equipment than usual around in the cab. They have four full-size doors and the space to carry a crew. Crew cabs are different from regular cabs, which have only two doors and a smaller interior space, and extended cabs, which have a smaller back seat and two smaller doors that open in the opposite direction of the front doors.
