A Groyper is a member of a far-right group known as the Groypers or the Groyper Army, which consists of alt-right, white nationalist, and Christian nationalist activists led by Nick Fuentes. The group is known for its extremely conservative views, including white nationalism, opposition to immigration, feminism, LGBTQ rights, and mainstream conservatism, which they see as too moderate. The Groypers use a cartoon amphibian called "Groyper," a variant of the Pepe the Frog meme, as their symbol. They have been involved in controversial political actions, including attempts to influence mainstream conservative politics and participation in the January 6 Capitol attack. The movement is widely described as homophobic, antisemitic, nativist, and fascist, despite efforts by some members to present it under the guise of Christian conservatism and traditional values.
