Narcissus is a genus of predominantly spring flowering perennial plants of the amaryllis family, Amaryllidaceae). The common names daffodil, narcissus, and jonquil are used to describe all or some members of the genus. Narcissus has conspicuous flowers with six petal-like tepals surmounted by a cup- or trumpet-shaped corona. The flowers are generally white and yellow, with either uniform or contrasting colored tepals and corona).

On the other hand, narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is a mental health condition in which people have an unreasonably high sense of self-importance and require constant, excessive admiration. They feel that they deserve privileges and special treatment, expect to be recognized as superior even without achievements, and make achievements and talents seem bigger than they are. People with NPD may be generally unhappy and disappointed when theyre not given the special favors or admiration that they believe they deserve. They may find their relationships troubled and unfulfilling, and other people may not enjoy being around them.
