A superfecta is a type of horse racing wager in which the bettor must pick the first four finishers of a race in the correct sequence. The bet must correctly predict the horses that will finish first, second, third, and fourth in the exact order. Superfecta bets can be made for as little as 10 cents, though some tracks have a $1 minimum. There are two types of superfecta bets:

Straight Superfecta: This is a bet on the first four horses to finish in exact order.

Superfecta Box Bet: This is a bet on multiple combinations of horses to finish first, second, third, and fourth. For example, if you place a superfecta box bet on horses 1, 2, 3, and 4, you will be betting on all 24 possible combinations of those horses finishing first, second, third, and fourth. This means that you will have 24 chances to win, instead of just one.
Superfecta bets are challenging to win, but they offer the potential for a large payout. To increase the chances of winning, bettors can box their bets, which will give them more chances to win, but it will also increase the cost of the bet.
